A Blissful Silence

Looks like Fox News might go off the air on the New Year.

NEW YORK—News Corp. Chief Operating Officer Chase Carey said in a memo to employees Wednesday that it's unlikely the company will reach an agreement with Time Warner Cable Inc. in time to prevent television programming disruptions for its customers on New Year's Day.
"At this time, it looks like we will not reach an agreement and our channels may very well go off the air in Time Warner Cable systems at midnight tomorrow, December 31," said Mr. Carey in his memo to employees. "We deeply regret that millions of Fox customers will be deprived of our programming, but we need to receive fair compensation from Time Warner Cable to go forward with them."
There are millions of wingnut tea-baggers across the nation for whom Fox News is their sole source of information. What will these people do? Will they have to listen to other points of view? Perhaps they'll be forced to watch leftist, radical news organizations like CNN.
I'm worried that one of them might accidentally land on PBS while changing channels. I could see this resulting in some exploding heads.
